What to expect and what you need to do
You will receive an email from ProSOnboarding@berkeley.edu regarding the steps you need to take to complete the onboarding process. The first email will contain instructions to complete the DocuSign packet, along with your DocuSign access code, and additional instructions to schedule your onboarding video call.
1. DocuSign
You will receive an email DocuSign packet via email from prosonboarding@berkeley.edu
Please complete your DocuSign packet as soon as possible. The sooner the better!
note: please check your spam if you have not received it! If you have not received a DocuSign packet, please contact your HR Contact.
2. Tracker I-9
You will receive an email from employment.authorization@universityofcalifornia.edu
Complete Section 1 of the Tracker I-9 prior to attending your onboarding session.
note: please check your spam if you have not received it! If you still cannot locate it please contact your HR Contact.
3. Your onboarding session
This is where you will have a video call with an onboarding team member to review and verify your employment documents
An onboarding team member will contact you via email to schedule your onboarding appointment to complete Section 2 of the Tracker I-9 and provide information regarding your next steps.
What to bring to this appointment:
Valid, original (not copies) of work authorization documents

Please note: this documentation is required by federal law in order to be employed by the University.
The onboarding team member will also briefly review important next steps that you need to take to enroll in benefits. You can review a checklist of those next steps here. It is important to note that you have 31 days to enroll in benefits.
